About club
The club was founded in 1998 as HC 98. Since 2013, Red Bull is the sole shareholder. In 2016, EHC Red Bull Munich won its first German championship, and in 2017 and 2018 the club managed to defend the title twice. In 2018-19, EHC Red Bull Munich became the first German team to reach the Champions Hockey League final.
