Hakametsä Arena was the first indoor ice rink in Finland, built for the 1965 World Championship. It is the only arena in Europe that is shared by two top-level hockey teams competing in the same league.

About club
The most successful team in Finland started as TBK (Tammerfors Bollklubb) in 1932 and changed its name to Tappara in 1955. The club has won 20 Finnish titles, more than any other club, and also won the 2022-23 Champions Hockey League.
