ONLINE TUTORIAL: Successful elite organizations

The Alliance of European Hockey Clubs presents its third online tutorial of 2025 features P.G. Fahlström, whose presentation is titled: “SUCCESSFUL ELITE ORGANIZATIONS: THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVES AND LESSONS FROM REALITY.”
Per Göran Fahlström is an associate professor at Linnaeus University. His PhD dissertation focused on ice hockey coaches. His research has spanned areas such as talent, talent development, effective coaching/leadership, and successful sports environments.
He has also been involved in several projects related to the analysis, evaluation, and development of sports organizations. These projects have covered various sports, including golf, track and field, alpine skiing, floorball, and cross-country skiing, as well as multiple projects in ice hockey.
His tutorial will draw on both his own and others' research, aiming to concretely develop and explain the characteristics of elite organizations that achieve long-term success.
This presentation is for coaches, managers, owners, and really anyone who aims to build their organization from one that is average or even very good into one that is truly elite. It will take place on Wednesday, 5 February at 10:00 CET.
It will be the E.H.C. Alliance's third online tutorial of 2025, following Oliver Wohak and Robin Schürmann’s “GENERATE A COMPETITIVE EDGE FOR YOUR CLUB - TAP INTO THE POTENTIAL OF DATA” on Thursday. 16 January and Angela Lindeberg’s “HOW SDHL BECAME ONE OF THE BEST LEAGUES AGAINST ALL ODDS” on Wednesday, 22 January.
It will be followed by:

- “HOCKEY'S UNTAPPED PLAYBOOK TO SUPERCHARGE GROWTH” by Amy Walsh on Wednesday, 26 February at 13:00 CET
