About club

GKS Tychy was founded in 1971 and has played its home games at Stadion Zimowy (Winter Stadium) in Tychy. The beginning was really though and the first significant success came in the 21st century - winning the Polish Cup in 2001 and the first Polish Championship in 2005. After 13 years, we can proudly say that we are one of the most successful clubs in Poland. We are the first Polish team to win the Polish Cup three years in a row and have never lost a Polish Cup final (10). We are also the first Polish club to win a medal at a major European tournament - third place at the IIHF Continental Cup 2015-16. In our team has produced great players like Mariusz Czerkawski and Krzysztof Oliwa.
